Relocation Services
Moving to a new data center? Consolidating sites? SacPower has handled the relocation of critical back-up power and cooling equipment for clients throughout California. Whether you require simple transportation services or turnkey de-commissioning thru re-commissioning services, Sac Power has the personnel, equipment, and technical expertise to make your move a smooth one. In order to minimize downtime all services are scheduled with complete flexibility according to client preference.
De-Commissioning Services
Our factory-trained technicians are well versed in the proper shut-down of small, medium & large UPS systems. Dis-assembly of UPS components/modules and equipment racks with preparation for proper transport is included with our de-commissioning service. All equipment is labeled for easy re-assembly at the new site.
Transport Services
Our field service staff specializes in getting the equipment removed from the existing site and delivered to the new room where it’s actually going to be installed, not just to the customers receiving area. We achieve this through use of the specialized lifts, dolly’s, and motorized hand-trucks required to insure the safe delivery of fragile & extremely heavy equipment.
Re-Assembly Services
As part of our re-assembly services, the technicians will position the various equipment racks and UPS cabinets at the new site according to a client-provided floor layout. We then assemble all power modules & battery modules into the UPS frames, install powerstrips & other IT equipment into the racks. For the ultimate level of safety & security we also provide seismic anchoring services at the new site for any cabinet-based products.
Re-Commissioning Services
The final piece of our relocation services is the re-commissioning and start-up process. Once everything has been re-assembled and properly installed from an electrical & mechanical standpoint, our technicians will begin to re-energize the power systems in the proper sequence. Once the start-up procedures have been completed for all devices, our staff will test the UPS system in all operational modes. If requested, our technician will provide UPS system training for any new personnel at the relocation/consolidation site.
If you are looking for assistance with the move of your data center, look no further than SacPower. We have the transport equipment, assembly & commissioning expertise, and factory knowledge required for a professional turnkey relocation.
